AKKARE is a Melbourne-based Malayalam indie rock band formed in 2025. Inspired by the emotional realities of life away from home, the band creates music that resonates with Malayalis living across the world. Through immersive soundscapes and heartfelt storytelling, AKKARE explores themes of nostalgia, identity, migration, and belonging. Their debut single "Yatra" marks the beginning of their musical trajectory, with more original music currently in the works.
